Dr. Kevin Nix joined Monroe Veterinary Clinic in April 2020.  Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Nix earned a B.A. in Psychology from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas.  He moved to Athens in 1999 where he found a passion for veterinary medicine.  After graduating from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, Dr. Nix completed an Internship at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas in Cary, North Carolina.  He spent the next six years working as an Emergency Veterinarian in the Atlanta area before moving into General Practice and eventually finding a home at Monroe Veterinary Clinic  He and his two boys, Tristan and Riley, enjoy time at home watching movies and playing video games or enjoying Scouting activities and the great outdoors.
