  • Stephanie
    Groomer

    Stephanie is a Monroe native, and has always had a passion or caring for animals. Her love for dogs began at a young age and she always knew she wanted to have a career involving interaction with them. 

    Stephanie started grooming in 2008 and has loved it ever since. 'I always love seeing the transformation of a freshly groomed pet, and how happy they feel when prancing out to their owner.' Stephanie enjoys camping, live music, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two children. 

  • Kristina and Alice
    Groomer

     Kristina is one of the groomers here at Monroe Veterinary Clinic, but you may see her working in other departments as well. She lives in Morgan County and raises orphaned farm animals for the local farms.

         Kristina has always had a passion for bottle raising animals, from squirrels and kittens to livestock. She has a golden retriever, pit bull mix and a cat, she has also kept 5 of the many sheep that she bottle raised from the day they were born.

          Kristina found her passion for grooming while in college studying to be a veterinary technician and has been grooming for a few years now. She says, 'It's always fun to see the potential behind all the fur'

  • Haleigh
    Groomer

    Haleigh is originally from the North Georgia mountains and but has since moved to Monroe. She started her career here with Monroe Veterinary Clinic in 2021. In 2022, she started a grooming apprenticeship under Stephanie and has been growing in that field ever since.  Haleigh has two dogs, Esther, an Australian shepherd and Lola, a poodle mix. In her spare time, she loves raising kittens, tending to her chickens, crocheting, and reading.

  • Janice and Blue
    Groomer Assistant

    Janice began her career with Monroe Veterinary Clinic in 1988 as a veterinary assistant for Dr. Bragg, the founder of MVC. Along the way she has learned many things in the veterinary field, one of those skills being grooming.

         Janice is now one of our groomers. In her spare time she loves spending time with her human family, especially her grandchildren.

         After many year of employment Janice sill loves working at MVC. 'Monroe Veterinary Clinic has enabled me to work with clients and many pets along the way. Something I truly enjoy.'

  • Kalani
    Groomer Assistant

    Kalani is a native of Walton County and is a recent graduate, of the 2023 class from Monroe Area High School. From a very young age she wanted to be a veterinarian but over the years her aspirations changed. She knew that she wanted to work with animals but was not sure in what way. In 2022, Kalani came across an opening as a groomer assistant and joined the MVC team. She is very passionate about her job and loves making sure the pets come out looking better than when they came in.

    Kalani has 3 cats, all named after Harry Potter characters, Newt, Tonks, and Luna. In her spare time, she loves to paint and draw. Kalani says “If I was not working with animals I would be working with art. There is nothing better than the feelings a piece of artwork can convey.”
