Shonna and Abbie .Practice Manager
Shonna is a native of Walton County and has always had a passion for pets - especially cats. She began her career with Monroe Veterinary Clinic in 1998 and is now the Practice Manager. Her day to day operations consist of managing all of the employees within the practice, bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and assisting where needed. She is a proud member of GAVMA. Shonna resides in Monroe with her husband and daughter. They have 3 dogs and 7 cats. She enjoys shopping, going to the beach, traveling, visiting antiques stores and spending time with her family and friends.
Eva and Hera .Client Services Manager
Eva is a native of Walton County and attended Monroe Area Comprehensive High School and knew very early in life that she wanted to work with animals in some way. Her first job was at the local Piggly Wiggly where she started out as a cashier and worked her way up to be Head Bookkeeper. During her time at Piggly Wiggly she learned many things; one of those in particular was providing excellent customer service which blossomed into a passion. In 2010 while working at 'the Pig' she attended Gwinnett Technical Collage where she was accepted into the Veterinary Technician Program.
Eva joined the Monroe Veterinary Clinic team in 2010 as a receptionist. She soon moved to the Head Receptionist in 2011. She is now taking on more of a social media and marketing roll at the clinic. Eva truly loves her job and gets to fulfill a childhood dream of working with animals while also making sure that top quality customer service is provided for each client. In her spare time she enjoys spending time in the gym, baking, music and of course spending time with her human and fur family of which includes her husband, their 2 Sons, 3 dogs and 2 cats.
Katie and ChunkyHead of Client Services
Katie has been in the veterinary field since 2008. She began her career as a receptionist and worked her way up to a veterinary assistant. She loves working with both the clients and patients. Katie lives in Walton County with her husband and their three dogs Tiff, Chunky and Pablo. Katie has been apart of the Monroe Veterinary team since 2014 and plans to have many more year to come.
Melissa .Client Services Assistant
Melissa is a Loganville native. She loves working with animals daily and learning all there is about the veterinary field. In her spare time she loves hiking in North GA with her family, crafting and photography. Melissa and her husband have a daughter and then live with their dog, Benjamin and their kitty, Bella. Melissa's favorite part of working at MVC is the obvious... the cute puppies and kittens!
Beth and Buckley .Client Services Assistant
In 2018, Beth moved to Georgia from Louisville Kentucky and found her job at Monroe Veterinary Clinic. Before MVC, Beth worked as a veterinary technician assistant at a local veterinary hospital in Louisville. Beth decided to become an technician assistant because she loves the animals and loves helping them. She currently has two rescue dogs, Mischief and Dakota. Together they love hiking and visiting parks in Georgia.
PAIGE AND MUSTAINE .Client Services Assistant
Paige has lived in Walton County for more that 20 years. Paige is new to the veterinary field and is so eager to learn. She has such a love for animals and would own 1 of everything, if she could. Paige resides in Monroe with her 3 feline babies, Feebee, Sushi and Mustaine along with her 1 canine baby, Rootbeer.
MAYLEE AND FLEEKClient Services Assistant
Maylee has lived in Walton County her whole life. She is a senior at Monroe Area High School. Maylee is a varsity football Cheerleader. She loves the small town feel and this community. She is also apart of the Youth Leadership Walton program. Here at MVC Maylee helps provide social media content, while learning client service skills. She is also willing to help anywhere she is needed. Maylee has three rescue dogs Fleek, Riley and Chewy. She loves to take them on walks and spend time with them. Maylee loves working with animals and learning new things about them on a day to day basis.
