    Patient Care Attendant Superviser

    Merit is originally from Dacula, Ga and attended Gainesville College. She has always had a passion for helping animals. This started by volunteering as a wildlife rehabilitator for several years as well as providing at home pet sitting before moving to Monroe and coming to work as a patient care attendant and veterinary technician assistant. She has always made it her goal to really get to know the clients, their four legged family members and to make sure that all animals in her care are treated as if they are part of her own family.  Merit lives with her husband and son, their two cats Tally and Boots and two dogs, Maggie and Cosmo, as well as the many wildlife that is in need throughout the year. She also enjoys being outdoors, hiking and kayaking while finding all the new cool spots Atlanta has to offer. 

  • Brenda and Ripper
    Patient Care Attendant

    Brenda started working for Monroe Veterinary Clinic by being asked to come and work for them. She has now been with the clinic for 13 years. Brenda is owned by one Labrador Retriever - Alli Gator, who is a hunting retriever champion and one cat, Slink-Man who is a whopping 15 pounder. 

    Alli - Gator, who is 12 years old loves the Georgia Bulldogs and does her own version of 'Who let the dogs out.'

    Brenda is a United Kennel Club Hunting Retriever Judge, which takes up many weekends during the Spring and fall. But she loves it. 

  • Samantha and Pierre
    Patient Care Attendant

    Samantha a Houston Texas native moved to Georgia as a young child. She has always been passionate about the health and care of animals. As a teen, Samantha volunteered at her local animal shelter, this is when she realized her love of animals and it was clear that she wanted to purse a career in the animal field. 

    Monroe Veterinary Clinic has given her the opportunity to do what she loves and work with a wonderful group of people that share the same values and passion. Samantha now lives in Walton county with her husband and three children. They share their home with two dogs, (Sophia and Pepper) three cats, (Charlie, Pierre and Hairy) and a beautiful horse, Bug. In her free time, Samantha enjoys traveling, camping and hiking with her dogs.
