2020

JANUARY: GRAY BENKOSKI

Gray got her name from her first owner, Jessie Adair. Gray is an indoor cat and we got her when Jessie Adair, my mom passed away. Gray makes my life special because each time I look at her I think of my Mom and much joy Gray brought her in her last years. Gray has had not health or medical issues except she is very overweight. Our plan is 2020 is to work with Monroe Vet Clinic to get Gray towards a healthier weight. Up until 8 years ago Gray was totally an outside cat. She was one of my Mama’s 4 outside cats. She and Mixie both disappeared one day and stayed gone for over a month. Then one morning when Mama opened her back door there sat Gray very hungry and thin. Mama was in her mid-80’s, but she climbed up into her attic to het a box, then walked down to the barn with a shovel and filled the box with sand for Gary to have a litter box. From that day forward Gray has not been outside. She because an inside girl. She and my Mom did everything together and were companions. They loved each other and brought happiness into each other’s lives. There’s nothing more special than having a cat as your best friend.

FEBRUARY: BOO JONES

My dog's name is Boo Jones. I got his name from the cute YouTube dog, Boo. Boo is a pomechon, part Pomeranian and part bischon frise. I got Boo from petland, he is my very first dog. I got him for my 50th birthday. Boo is such a character, if he is not foraging for food his got everything in his mouth. He makes people laugh and is very loving when he not into mischief. Monroe Veterinary Clinic takes the greatest care of him. He can be a handful and they know just how to care for him. I am so grateful to have all the special care givers at Monroe Veterinary Clinic. It’s a special place with special people who love the animals and make sure they are happy and healthy.

MARCH: PATCHES BOYER

Patches is an elderly Chihuahua – She was adopted and came with her name. Her original owner was an elderly lady in wheelchair. Sadly, she had a stroke and needed to reside in an assisted living center. Therefore, we became Patches new home. We like to become forever homes for those that are hard to place in those homes. Peaches has elderly respiratory issues and needed extensive dental care when she first came into our home. She is meek and mild, loving in nature, just happy to have a loving home.
