We are pleased to introduce our April pet of the month, Miss Devereaux. Devereaux is one of a kind and is such a sweet girl. Not only is her name French but so is her breed, she is a beautiful Bichon Frise. The Purcell family had friends that raised Bichon’s and Mrs. Purcell always said she would get one. Over several months Mrs. Purcell would make a dash over to see the puppies whenever they were around so that she could love on them until one day she was handed a puppy of her very own. At that time Mrs. Purcell was worried about the responsibility of caring for a pet but she could not turn down the special baby that she had been given and it was love at first sight. That was 13 years ago. Although most of her years have been great Devereaux has had her set back with bladder stones and the surgery that is required to remove them. Now she is on special food and everything has been great since. Devereaux loves many things such as going for car rides to see the sights, sleeping, her boiled chicken treat and of course her Mommy and Daddy. We are so lucky that the Purcell family has trusted our practice to care for Devereaux and to have her as a patient.
